La Loupiote suggests you her magic door “The Korrils’ Door“. It is an entirely handmade piece made in her workshop in Normandy, France. This magic door glows in a sweet light. It not only brings a touch of magic in the room it decorates but it also soothes those who are afraid of the dark. It is a unique piece.
The story of The Korrils’ Door
An old wooden door, adorned with a knocker in the shape of a korrigan’s head is set in the stone of an ancient dolmen built on the moor. heather and gorse blossom among the symbols carved in the rocks.
🌙…At nightfall, the small door will open and hundreds of small creatures will join the fairy circle to dance away the night while listening to the wild sounds of the violins, bagpipes and bombardes.
It’s a wise person who will find the entrance door to their hidey-hole. the korrigans from the moor -, the korrils are not easy to find, unless you get lost under the full moon and let yourself join their crazy party. if unfortunately you were invited to join the gig, take off your jacket and wear it inside out. the trouble makers will surely disappear . you have my (breton) word !

La Loupiote – veilleuses féeriques is a shop that was created in 2020 by the artist “La Loupiote”, a word which has a double meaning in French.
It refers to a small light or a small child. How fitting this name is for someone who creates night-lights in the shapes of small fairy houses !
These magical small lamps which are inspired by the enchanting world of the Faery Folk illuminate the eyes of young and old people alike. The fairy houses glimmer in a sweet light and bring a touch a dream at night fall in the room they decorate, as well as they soothe the ones who are afraid of the dark.
All of the night-lights are unique and handmade with many details, much care and patience. Each of them tells an authentic story and invites you into their worlds – they seem to come all the way from a mossy undergrowth, a flowery meadow, a haunted castle ou even on old library. One holds into their hands a piece of an intimate dream handmade in the workshop just for you.
